Ecstatic dance is a free-form, movement-based practice in which participants dance spontaneously and improvisationally to music, focusing on inner experience rather than prescribed steps. The practice often leads to meditative, trance-like states that support emotional release, self-discovery, and deep personal connection.
Held in a sober, non-judgmental, and sacred space, ecstatic dance is a form of mindful, conscious movement—often described as a moving meditation. Participants are encouraged to let go of ego, expectations, and self-consciousness while connecting with their bodies and emotions through music.
Sessions follow a dynamic musical journey that may move through phases allowing dancers to explore a wide range of physical and emotional expression.
